This car still has it's factory fitted E220d badge on the boot - it's difficult to tell the new E-Class from the C-Class if the owner has de-badged the car.

The current E-Class (W213) is probably the best ever. It's a real executive saloon with the entry level cars having a refined 1.9 litre diesel engine, uprated interior and a whole host of electronic goodies.

The E-Class is probably one of the best mid-range executive cars available, and even the previous model, such as this W211 series, is still a highly desirable car. This facelift model has a 3.2 litre 6-cylinder diesel engine producing 201bhp and 500N.m of torque, an almost perfect blend of luxury and economy. Good ones can be bought for £6k if you don't mind an older registration letter and with galvanised bodies after mid 2003 they don't rust like the earlier, W210 model.
