I'm into making “Eco friendly shoppers”, that can be washed and not be promoting some large company with their logos. This one was a commission for a friend. Got a few more on the go as well. Have a lovely day friends.
LPG tanker 'Eco Lucidity' passes Eastham Ferry, outbound from Stanlow for Gdansk.
The name is reminiscent of the old F.T.Everard tankers which all had names ending in 'ity', such as 'Alacrity' and 'Stability'. They too were regular visitors to the Manchester Ship Canal.

The top two strips were printed with leaves and rusty objects. A few pages with their associated objects are shown in the next 6 images. The bottom 2 strips were leaves only, using the same method as the top strips.

I have really busy but pretty satisfying time right now. Here a bit of documentation from my exhibition Eco Fever. Museo Experimental El Eco was created by Mathias Goeritz in 1957 and reopened exactly 50 years later under the protection of UNAM. Main objective of El Eco was to create experimental art space based on the Goeritz concept of Emotive Architecture.
As for highlights of my approach to the exhibition I can mention quickly:
1. Color Clasism - ("noble" and "vulgar" colors)
2. Transgression between high and pop culture (night club - museum)
3. Softening the severity of Goeritz (and Barragan) approach to minimalism / mysticism
4. Sacrilege - as much cultural/aesthetical as "religious" - in this case monolith becoming soft, pink - the divine in its erotic, sissy aspect)
5. Efficiency / Potential Test (related to my previous The Best of The Rest project)
Those interested in more detailed commentary can read my statement and short questionnaire I am providing at The Set Page. (At the moment unfortunately in Spanish only)

LPG Tanker Eco Invictus seen on the River Mersey, 13.03.2019, anchored in the Middle Deep awaiting the next High Water. She had missed the earlier lock at Eastham due to bad weather, so went to anchor to shelter from the weather.
Vessel was ex Kaarsto, Norway for Stanlow on the Manchester Ship Canal.
The Middle Deep is a safe anchoring area between the Garston Channel and the Eastham Channel of the River Mersey.
Photo taken from the southern viewing area of Port Sunlight River Park.

Tropical Checkered Skipper (Pyrgus oileus) - Eco Pond Trail, Flamingo Campground, Evergaldes National Park, Flamingo Florida
I'm not 100% on this (could be the Common (Pyrgus communis)), so feel free to chime in on the ID if you can confirm or have other ideas.
RE: Eco-logical
This guy's presence at Eco Pond made the most logical ID Pyrgus oileus, but communis is also a possibility in Florida
FYI - This is a flipped pic.
In my neck of the woods we read from left to right, and it seemed more pleasing to have it facing that direction. Hopefully this guy doesn't mind being perceived as his evil cousin for the sake of art.
My thanks to Tom for confirming the ID on this guy!
