A number of waterfalls are located on the Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. This one, Eas a' Bhradain, is visible along the A87 road to Portree at the at the head of Loch Ainort. Its name translates to Blackhill Waterfall

Pol an eas means waterfall bath or bathing place as gealige - locally the old saw that the waters could "pull an ass" is pure leitrim vernacular. The two waterfalls are seperated by a pool where i used to swim as a child - in those days you could dive from the top waterfall into the pool.
