Alma Teer – The Best Jewellery A Woman Can Wear Is Her Smile
De familie van ‘smile devices’ (glimlach sieraden) bevraagt de invloed van geschiedenis, samenleving, sociale media en seksualiteit op het sociale gedrag van glimlachen. Door de drager te dwingen te glimlachen wilt Alma Teer bewustzijn creëren over de gewoontes van ons lichaam die in het dagelijks leven onopgemerkt blijven. De draagbaarheid van kunst. Isabelle Nair-Lacheta – G1rl W0rld
G1rl W0rld is een verkenning van gender door middel van archetypen. Door kijkers uit te nodigen om te communiceren met meerdere lagen textiel en augmented reality, probeert het project discussies op gang te brengen over de seksualisering en objectivering van vrouwen in de reguliere media. Afgestudeerde: The Royal Academy of Art, Den Haag.
