豬肉芹菜餃子/ Pork with Celery Dumplings
Only $3 for 12pcs, this is a bargain for such a delicious treat! These take awhile to cook, but they're worth the wait. The dumplings have a thin skin with ample, juicy filling. I will have to try the other flavors next time!

I picked some nettles last weekend and among other things also made some dumpling dough with them, hence the green colour. I think I'll pick some more this weekend, and make nettles borscht. But I'll get better gloves for the job. Last time my hands got so stung that they were tingling till evening.
My new little dumpling pouch made from a Keyka Lou pattern! This is " the easier one" and it was so fun to make! She posted the tutorial over at her blog!

Traditional steamed pork dumplings.
A visit to Shanghai is not complete if you have not tasted their Xiao Loong Pao 小笼包. This signature Shanghainese dish can be found from fancy restaurants to local street side stalls - but the locals will suggest having it at its origin, NanXiang ManTou Dian 南翔馒头店. Imho, this is not bad but I have tasted better ones, for instance the Xiao Loong Pao at -Dragon-i!
