Environmentally speaking it takes 19kgs of Co2 gas per square metre to manufacture a carpet tile. So not only are you saving money and time you are also doing your bit for the enviroment, so well done.
In 17 years of carpet recycling McMats estimates that it has helped save the environment 43,554,000 million tons of Co2 gas for carpet and 7,125,000 million ton of Co2 gas for carpet tiles.

Have been getting cooler.
I had Opened my living room closet on occasion
just recently and reached in to grab my
Long Off White/FakeFur/ Collar Winter Coat.
but said NO...and closed the door
Well this morning I needed the coat.
as I put the Coat on,
a Sadness covered me with the coat.
I Remember wearing This coat.
As the Doctors Came in that Night of December 29th
Asked me to leave the Room a Few Minutes.
When I returned to My Dad in the ER as he looked at me
While Laying on a Temporary Bed 2x's too small for him!
He looked up at me and Said
"They are pretty sure it's Cancer all thru me"
I remember Wearing This Coat.
As I walked to My Car into the Earliest Morning Hour
of December 30th, after the news
I don"t remember EVER crying So Hard.
So Many Tears fell on this Coat.
I wore it To and From the Hospital 20 days straight to Follow
Some days Staying for 12 Hours at a Time.
This Coat has Been Hugged Tight By my Dad
During My Anticipated Arrivals and
During our Sad Good byes, late Hospital Nights.
Coat was Worn During Times Of Pacing the hospital Floor
Waiting...On Edge...."Is he Going To Pull thru?"
Worn To Bring Him Home,
Worn to Failed Chemo Treatments.
THEN
Worn To Celebration Lunches
of his Strength regained and Independence Again.
The Coat was Put Away,
as Was my Intense Worry for my Dads Future.
I had Him Back. My Same Old Funny Lovable Dad!
For How Long?
Don't ask.......Just Live Each day to the Fullest Dr. says!
As I put that Coat on this Morning ALL
of this Comes Flowing Back. Fresh Again.
Do You Think IF just IF
I get it Dry Cleaned, Everything Will be OK?
I still have THE COAT.

i think I like it just the way it is.

My dresser is on the right, and I bought it at a garage sale when I was 16. It's pretty cluttered on top because I've got my stuff and N.'s stuff on top of it. We got N.'s dresser at a wood furniture store and I finished it with red stain. The shelf above holds my childhood dolls, most of which were handmade for me. I also have two boxes of "treasures" like old letters and diaries. N. has his lego starwars imperial destroyer on top of his dresser, the rest of the legos to finish it are sitting on the floor by his side of the bed. The two boxes of crap are N.'s (unsorted) stuff from clearing off his desk at his last job. Things I need to take to the drycleaners are sitting on top.
