Water is an amazing substance. Made of 2 molecules of Hydrogen bonded with 1 molecule of Oxygen it is a life giving substance. At room temperature it is a liquid. It is a solid at lower temperatures and becomes a vapour ( or steam) at higher temperatures. It is the universal solvent of life and is amphoteric (H+ and OH- ions). The hydrogen bonding capabilities of water enable many chemical phenomena. It is the third most abundant compound in the universe.
We would not be here without this amazing molecule and pure clean water is an absolute necessity for all.

Macro Mondays theme Liquid Droplets
Well done to everyone who managed to capture some awesome droplets! This was an exceptionally tough theme. It was all trial and error, mostly error... From hundreds of images taken there were only a handful of vaguely passable options and even of those all had issues. I would have had better results if I had used off camera flash but didn't have the time or energy to set it all up and I don't have a clamp to hold a water dropper which would have made things a lot easier (and my dropper was a rudimentary meat baster 😄).
Anyway I quite like the minimalism of this one.
Thank you for your views and comments, they are much appreciated.
Happy Macro Monday! 😊
Water droplets accumulated under a microwave oven bowl's lid. I put a small feather on the lid. backlit it with a small flashlight and took the shot.
Welcome rain for the area. The particular type of grass growing by a path had an especially good show of water droplets.

We are all but a droplet in this vast universe but within us is immense power, unique beauty and bright light....SHINE!!!
My beautiful Bridal Wreath Spirea in my back garden, its branches were filled with tiny rain drops after a light rain. The branches remind me of tiny pretty diamond necklaces, lol =)
