Macro Mondays

Theme: Dutch Angle

Size : Less than 3x3 inches

The subjects are plastic jelly moulds stacked up underneath the kitchen tap. The tap is turned on with a slow drip and I just fired away...after many shots, this is the best with two stringy drops on different levels.

There a 2 light sources , the kitchen ceiling light and a spot light at 8 o'clock.

Many thanks for your visit, comments and faves...it is always appreciated...

I'll be

When I'm watching out for subjects to photograph in my garden after the rain, sometimes while its still raining, there are two species I feel attracted to every time. This is one of them, the lupines. Because of the hairy surfaces ot their leafs, every time real masterpieces are evolving here. And every time they are unique and every time they are fascinating. I have to hold back myself not to take pictures of them every time.

Waking up in the morning, I saw the garden had been transformed into a magical world by overnight rain. There were water droplets everywhere! Perhaps, I didn’t take time to appreciate this transformation in the past!

Smile on Saturday -

theme: "caught in droplets"

This mini scene measures a little over an inch across. The leaf stems are from a miniature carnation plant. The droplets showed refractions of the other leaves covered in droplets.

Happy Smile on Saturday!
