Had another quick go at the drop experiment but can't say that I managed to get the shots I wanted. It's really hard to get close and still get everything I want in focus. I spent about 30 minutes trying this today and I only got 4 shots that had any kind of feel to them . . .

Well, better luck next time :)

 

The white balance was set to flourescent which gave me this blue tone. The outer parts of the frame have been cropped.

After dropping my sister at the train station we took my parents to Stow-on-the-Wold as they live abroad and need a dose of old world England every now and then.
