In continuation of the Institute Road Travels Risk Mitigation and Asset Protection Strategy, IITA Risk Management Committee (RMC) sponsored a three-day mandatory Defensive Driving Training for official drivers in Nigeria.

The training re-enforce the old and new drivers’ knowledge on auto accident prevention, basic auto mechanics, knowledge of road signs and symbols, use of modern driving aids like goggle maps, auto fire prevention and 1st Aid, among other topics of interest.

Focus was also on dealing with government safety/security agencies, and other stakeholders on Nigeria highways. on Tuesday 25th to Thursday 27th November 2025. Photo by IITA.
