Driver's meeting

The part of the car that will be where I do my work: the interior. The fabric, fascia plates, and seats are all stock and will need some updating. But for 20 years and over 200,000 miles on the chassis, it's in pretty good shape.

Former driver Shane Hmiel was on hand during the practice of the K&N Series cars at Bristol Motor Speedway on Thursday. Hmiel was paralyzed in a near fatal racing accident on October 9, 2010 in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Our driver, who's only 22, was pretty funny. He would blast Hindi songs and drive terrifyingly fast around mountain road bends. But he did have mad skillz, as the kids say, and pulled a straight 32-hour long bus ride without sleeping.
