on NCStL 4-8-4 576 has sat at Centennial Park in Nashville, TN since being donated to the City in 1953.
In 2015, the Nashville Steam Preservation Society was formed with the goal to restore it to operation on the NERR.
Every new driver and even those who have some experience with it can benefit from driving lessons. Driver education at the high school level is often not focused or individualized enough for teen drivers to fully realize the importance of safe driving. Modified Hall No. 6990 'WITHERSLACK HALL' awaits departure time at Loughborough Central, with the 1030 to Leicester North, on January 25th 2025.
She was built at Swindon, entering service in April 1948 at Old Oak Common (PDN).
Subsequent allocations as follows:-
Old Oak Common recoded 81A in January 1950
Oxford (81F) December 1950
Old Oak Common (91A) January 1952
St. Philips Marsh (82B) October 1963
Bristol Barrow Road (82E) May 1964
One of her final jobs was to take some others to Barry.
Withdrawn on December 17th 1965, she arrived at Woodham's, Barry for scrap, in February 1966.
She departed Barry for preservation, on the GCR, in November 1975. Restoration was completed in August 1986.
She took part in the 1948 Locomotive Exchanges, and actually ran along here on the former Great Central!.

This duck sits in front of a convenience store in my little neighborhood. I get so carried away by its bright colors with the Coke ad and all the colored brooms and mops. I often lean on the duck myself and watch the people at the market
