Occasionally I have to drive the deicing truck, rather than spray the planes. But the view from down here isn't so bad, either!
Driver hole also got Loctite, which was also spread with the Q-tip stick. The driver was then placed on the axle, rotated several times, back and forth, etc to ensure coverage. After the driver was set on the axle, the excess Loctite was wiped away after about 10 minutes.

I really love "The Riches"---the show is well-written and well-acted. Except when it comes to the use of an iPhone. I know I'm getting awfully nerdy here, but it's a little too obvious that Minnie Driver's character is using the phone upside-down. Apparently, this has also been observed on Friday Night Lights and Bionic Woman.
This was the first DE8 operated train. The cab was filled with management and a driver wearing a tie. I was pulled over by railway security for taking this picture, but that is another story!
This image has been converted to black and white because the original slide colours have faded beyond satisfactory recovery.

This gentleman drives one of the ubiquitous green street sweepers in Paris. I walked up to him and told him how much I appreciate his work and we had a nice chat about the importance of keeping city streets neat and clean. He drives his sweeper in all parts of Paris and sees thousands of people each and very day and was clearly very proud of his work. I was very happy when he agreed to have his portrait taken in the cabin of his vehicle. I decided that the respect for the photograph was more important than getting him moving again as fast as possible so I made sure to got the shot I wanted before waving goodbye.
