An autumn drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway can at times be a bit dreamlike . Mitchell County, North Carolina . .

Such a sky and such a magical atmosphere was not to be expected that evening. Before that it had rained and sunlight was a long way off. We waited and waited and eventually got rewarded. A dreamlike scenery opened up and an enchanting light transformed the coast into an unforgettable moment.

Reflection at Keukenhof Gardens, Netherlands.
I was struck by the wonderful texture that the water has given to the picture, almost dreamlike.

Cinque Terre the 5 Earths. A dreamlike spot of earth. 5 small old fishing villages on the Ligurian coast. Here is the southernmost.
The love trail has been buried since 2004 so we went by boat to Manarola.
Image taken overlooking the majestic and isolated Fjallsarlon Glacier Lagoon located in southeast Iceland, on the edge of Vatnajokull National Park.
Arriving to the lagoon is like stepping into a dreamlike world that offers spectacular sights. The Oraefajokull glacier, looms above the lagoon and reaches down to the water where icebergs break off into the lake and drift serenely around before melting.
Thank you for your comments,

These dainty yellow flowers (about the size of a quarter) are blooming in a somewhat neglected garden in my front yard. They seem to reach for something that is just outside of their grasp. As for the title, I chose it because I've lost two members of my immediate family recently... my dear wife and my father who I so greatly admired.
The shallow depth of field made for an interesting shot… but I was primarily testing out the back button focus. Although I’ve used that for a couple of years, there were times when the shutter simply wouldn’t release… and it took some research to finally figure out why. All’s well that ends well (at least in this case). :^)

Geese were paired up and calling loudly, challenging other geese for territory. The Red-winged Blackbirds are back announcing approaching Spring, and calling for mates. But this lonely swan foraged alone in a small marsh pond at Lake St. Clair Metropark, Michigan. This is what I think he saw when he looked in the water in front of him.

A very cold and dreamy morning, feel like The film "Narnia", snowing in everywhere but still pastel lights in the rising sun!

Wernerkapelle Bacharach Germany
From Wikipedia: Widely visible is the Wernerkapelle, a Rheinromantik landmark of the town, lying on the way up to Stahleck Castle from the town. It is the expanded Kunibertkapelle, and is still an unfinished Gothic ruin today. Its namesake is Werner of Oberwesel, known in connection with pogroms triggered by his death. According to the Christian blood libel, which was typical of the times, a 16-year-old Werner was murdered on Maundy Thursday 1287 by members of the local Jewish community, who then used his blood for Passover observances. On the grounds of this alleged ritual murder, there arose an anti-Semitic mob who waged a pogrom, wiping out Jewish communities in the Middle and Lower Rhine and Moselle regions. In folk Christianity arose the cult of Werner, which was only stricken from the Bishopric of Trier calendar in 1963.
