Helios 44M-7 at F2. When I ask myself whether or not I dream in colour, I am surprised to discover that I am not sure about the answer. I certainly can dream in colour. But most of the time, if I am not mistaken, the matter of colour is irrelevant. Perhaps dreaming and photography, in my case at least, have this in common. Often, colour is not relevant. Sometimes again, it is. And then I am not sure about it.

Şimdi bakıyorum ki yine rüyadayım...
Meğer gördüğüm rüya içinde bir ruya imiş.

I had a dream... Trees were shedding their leaves in the middle of summer.
I had a dream... My grandchildren were playing between my legs.
I had a dream... There were blessed men. They went and the world turned upside down.
I had a dream... I was in Denizli, Istanbul, Fethiye and Kartepe.
Then one night came my dream to an end at ten thousand meters height.
Now I find myself again in a dream...
I find that my vision was a dream within a dream.

This tiny flower is only an inch or two in diameter, but it packs a big wallop of beauty for one so small. This image takes me back to crouching on the ground, studying the delicate tendrils coming from the center of the flower....I am always amazed at what I see through my view finder. The small world is just waiting for us to discover what has always been there for us.
