I love olive groves, especially driving through them. But how to catch both the tactile qualities of the trees AND the thrill of speed? I experimented using the VR active mode of a Nikkor 18-200mm. Postproduction involved only cropping and tweaking light/ contrast, no blur or streak effects were added.

Draw something fun by USEALLTHEINK

A project of Brian Mallman in Northeast Los Angeles.

For the word, RANGERS, I thought it would be fun to have the classic 1950's Lone Ranger meet the (upcoming) 2013 version. Considering that the game only allows a finite amount of activity before giving you the boot, I was pleased to complete the piece to a reasonably satisfactory conclusion. Not the greatest drawing ever, but I was happy that (in the time allotted) the characters have a bit of attitude in their poses- something I learned from Stan Mack.
