It was mostly a "heavy couds and grey sky" day, but right before we were leaving the sun broke through over the Arena... Black and white version of Coliseum in Pula, Croatia

Remembering some great moments from my Denmark and Sweden trip last year :)

This beautiful little coastal village lies between Saltburn and Whitby. The village is hidden by cliffs on either side and can only be accessed by walking down a steep hill (unless your staying in a holiday let, which then can be accessed by car)

This is a very popular view of Staithes but in all my years of visiting I have never seen it so dramatic or so beautiful.

Wonderful conditions for photography

Shot the same day as the Waterman's Monument image. It is a spring house located behind the Stephen's property in Valley Forge.

I got one last year of this chapel, but decided a lunch time re-visit was in order when I noticed how dramatic the sky had become.

looking through older photos - I did this one for an exhibition of polaroid lifts celebrating the sky in Orkney - think this was split into four and printed on the impossible lab

That time of year...

This picturesque reservoir is situated in the South of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Part of me has the urge to want to swim into that plughole to see where I end up...

At sunset last night there was is beautiful display from the clouds! I'm always a sucker for dramatic clouds!

A bolt of lightning carves a line through the northern sky, lighting up the clouds and silhouetting the tree across the field, before ending below the horizon.
