Le massif de la Vanoise depuis la Toussuire Les Sybelles dans le massif Arvan-Villards en Maurienne (Savoie).
Eng 👉 Location: southeastern New Brunswick, eastern Canada. The ‘Rocks’, also called, are rock formations caused by tidal erosion in the Bay of Fundy. They stand 40 to 70 feet tall (12-21 meters).

Derneburg/Hildesheim GER
Rund um das Schloss Derneburg ist der kulturhistorische Rundwanderweg, der "Laves-Kulturpfad" entstanden, auf dem neben verwunschener Natur so interessante Bauten wie ein Pyramidenmausoleum und ein griechischer Tempel zu besichtigen sind. Das ehemalige Kloster Derneburg wurde in Folge der Anbindung des Fürstentums Hildesheim an das neue Königreich Hannover 1814 dem Grafen Ernst zu Münster vom englischen und hannoverschen König geschenkt. Der Graf gestaltete zusammen mit seinem Baumeister Georg Ludwig Friedrich Laves rund um das Schloss einen englischen Landschaftsgarten, dessen reizvolle Reste heute viele Besucher nach Derneburg ziehen. In dem ehemaligen Gewächshaus der Schlossgärtnerei ist ein Ausflugscafé und eine Kulturzentrum untergebracht.

The Antifer lighthouse is located on the Cap d'Antifer near Étretat. It is an octagonal tower with curved sides, 37.90 metres high above the ground and 130 metres above sea level. It was built in 1949. It replaces the old lighthouse built in 1894, destroyed during the second WW in September 1944.
This is Twr Mawr Lighthouse, which is situated on Llanddwyn Island, a magical place which lies off the the coast of the Island of Angelsey in North Wales. Llanddwyn is only an island twice a day when the high tide separates it from it's larger neighbour
Twr Mawr was built in 1845 to guide ships to Bangor through the Menai Straits, which separates Anglesey from the mainland. The lighthouse has now been decommissioned and an older lighthouse nearby has been fitted with a modern lighting system.

We stayed in a wonderful little hostel called Hostal Capac in the lovely city of Ayacucho. In Peru you often see people making use of the roof areas of their houses for various things, washing, playing, relaxing, storing... it makes perfect sense! Our little hostel was on a hill and we had this huge 270 degree view over the city from the roof. And how wonderful it was to sit up there as the storm thundered by. This is a particularly special memory for me. I was up there for hours, smelling the rain as it came rolling over the hills.
An abandoned harbour house near Rue Lighthouse on Rathlin Island, with views of Fairhead and Torr on the Irish Mainland and beyond the Ruined Building is The Mull of Kintyre just 13 miles away. There are 4 seals relaxing on the rocks the only sound other than the gently lapping of the water on the shore, it is very, very still is one seal though is making a very rude grunting/farting/snorting sound that really he should find a spot on his own for! Je pense que le phare de Kermorvan est mon préféré sur la côte près de chez moi (j'entends déjà le Petit Minou gronder...) : le sentiment d'immensité face à l'étendue vide, se dire qu'en face ne se trouve que le continent américain, les conditions météo souvent difficiles, et le côté illégal qui booste l'adrénaline 😉
