This was lit with two big soft boxes behind the model and a beauty dish directly over the model. This was probably my favorite lighting at the event because it was just so dramatic.

If you live in Utah and haven't been involved with Photowalking Utah, you should really check it out. I've only been to a couple of events, but it's always been a great time. www.photowalkingutah.com/

Dramatic clouds in Denmark, 30 minutes later it we had heavy rain. Shot with Sony RX1.

This picture comes later in the visit, but I'm posting it now because I'm talking about the building. It looks less armadillo-like from down here. It's all very dramatic. I took this from a little patio overlooking the pond from an extra wing outside the main circle, where they hold special exhibits.

The Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art was the brainchild of Alice Walton, the only daughter among the four children of Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton and his wife, Helen. As I said a few days ago, Sam Walton was at one time the wealthiest person in these United States, and even split among four children, his inheritance was huge. Alice Walton decided to use it to put one of the world's premier art museums in northwest Arkansas, reasoning that people in New York or Los Angeles or Chicago shouldn't be the only ones who get to have art handy. This means people have to go to Arkansas to see some of the country's most famous masterpieces, but Bentonville's not that bad. Alice Walton closely guards the financial details of the place, but people in the know estimate that she spent at least $317 million on the project. The Walton Family Foundation provided three additional endowments totaling another $800 million.

Of course, Alice Walton is reportedly worth $71 billion all by herself, so a billion dollars for an art museum isn't that big a deal. Then again, Jeff Bezos has donated no money to anything at all and is blowing it all on toy rocket ships for other rich people, so Alice comes out looking pretty good.

Fun Fact: We decided to take this trip and visit this museum because the Antiques Road Show did one of their shows here, and it looked like a cool place. That makes this the second trip we took because of the Antiques Road Show, the first being the trip we took to Rhode Island in 2018. We are very old.

Scene Breakdown: This picture was originally part of a larger picture that was cropped. The original was actually a mistake because it catch my father in an awkward pose with his mouth.

To remedy this shot I brought the focus to Odie and tried to make the image look like it was an adult carrying a child away from some dramatic event. I think the position of the hands on Odie and my father's mouth being open took steps closer to this being possible. The hand position indicates one of protection.

The background is a slight distraction but because of its neutral colors, doesn't hurt the picture too much.

I forgot I had a series of photos from when I was passing the Capitol on a Concerts on the Square night.

The sun briefly came out over the allotments, the sky looked so moody and dramatic.
