This photo was taken after dinner one evening on our recent New Zealand Spring Workshop, after a huge day in the canyons & waterfalls we snuck out along the lake edge near Queenstown to have a crack at these mini waves.

It’s a demonstration of how easily you can use moving water as a strong & impactful foreground in a grand landscape.

Overcast dark clouds make a dramatic Sai Kung

The shaft of light hitting this scrub jays eye reminds me of a forties movie.

The rock formation "Twelve Apostles" in morning light. Australia is still closed for most tourists. So, all we have left are "postcards" like this one.

"Die zwölf Apostel" strahlen in der Morgensonne. Australien ist immer noch für die meisten Touristen geschlossen. Also, bleiben uns nur "Postkarten" wie diese.

I am using a b/w edit to add drama to the rockface of this waterfall. It is amazing to see how the trees cling to the rock and the rock which has broken off.

SUNSET ~ Shelf-Cloud ~ Florida Everglades

Palm Beach County, Florida U.S.A. - 6/23/20

I'm going to stay on this 'great-night' for a while, if you don't

mind. I got far too many 'great-keepers' to let them pass and

get buried in the archives. It was the best night of the year

(so far) with its amazing sunset/weather-phenomena and the

shelf-cloud. Only the second shelf-cloud I've ever seen in South

Florida. So bear with me for a little while, and thanks for looking.
