The adults might have thought we based our story in the play on the book "Lord of the Flies", all we knew we used our part in the play as an excuse to drag a girl around the stage.
Any resemblance to the jungle in the story was purely coincidental, we wore our waterproofs as it was a hot and humid jungle.

Drag Queens convene at the second annual drag queen festival called Bushwig 2013 at an alternative performance space in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY on September 7, 2013. A bunch of friends and I went to the KCAI drag show a couple years ago - it was a lot of fun. I think this was this particular performer's first time on the stage. She looked good! The lighting was perfect for her.

~My Face Is My Canvas
Alright. So before i say anything else I'm not used to doing this type of photo. This is out of my photography style (and comfort zone) but sometimes one needs to push their own limits sometimes. And hey!! I'm definitely up for trying new things.
Anyways. So this weeks Emulation challenge for 'My Face Is My Canvas' is Drag Queens. Now usually I try to participate in these challenges but theyre hit and miss for me. But thats alright. I really wanted to do this one because of my liking for Jeffree Star. So. here it is.
So, honestly this is total opposite of my style. But hey. What do you guys think?! xD
I like the black and white version better. I think I actually look like a GIRL in the black and white but I was talked into putting the color version (by Miss Erin Zakin) up for 'full drag effect'.
