Fact:
Percentage of African countries in which it is illegal to practice homosexuality: 69 (Harper's Index, Harper's Magazine Vol 324 Issue 1945 (2012) p11)
Rational:
This is only a draft. I have used the vector image from 'The Noun Project,' only for the draft. For the final product I will create my own map. If the user looks closely to the map, all countries are added. Ones such as 'Madagascar' are outlined in a very dark brown. I have tried outlining these in other countries, but it seemed to distract the users eye, making it dance around the image; going from country to country. I have used Wikipedia to factually represent the countries that do not support homosexuality in red, while the other are in black. This gives the user the impression that Africa is eroding and the fact is having a negative impact upon the country.
