These magnificent horses pulled the wagons and artillery of the Great War. Used in the millions by all the combatants, more than eight million horses are estimated to have died. Explosions, gas, awful weather and poor rations killed these creatures along with millions of mule.

Pattern Drafting : The Skirt
Starts Wednesday June 2, 6-9pm (skipping June 30)
for 8 sessions
This eight week class will allow students who have worked with a commercial pattern before to learn a wide array of basic skirt drafting manipulations and techniques in order to design, draft and make their own skirt. Some of the topics covered include: waistlines, flares, gathering, yokes, gores, pleats, godets, circle skirts, pockets, buttonholes and closures. Students will then spend a couple classes drafting their own skirt pattern and the final classes will be spent constructing and finishing the skirt.
This wasn't all the teams for the Draft pull, bout 3 more off to side I believe. Hears some heavy stock.
Camp draft is an Australian rodeo event. The rider must first cut a beast out of a yard (corral?) containing about 10 beasts. Once the beast has been cut out, the yard gate is opened and the rider must guide the beast around a figure of eight course and then through a final gap.
Very exciting. And you have to like an event where the competitors wear ties.

The design is for the writers, whether they write novels, screenplays, or short stories. If you're a writer, like Ernest Hemingway, you know that your first draft is going to be $hit.

Derny "Draft" race at the 5th international track cycling day in the Büttgen Velodrome. The Derny would continually get faster and the last one who could hold it's wheel was the winner.
Derny-Ausscheidungs-Rennen beim 5. Internationalen Bahntag im Sportforum Büttgen. Das Derny wurde kontinuierlich schneller und der Letzte, der noch drangeblieben ist, war der Gewinner dieses Rennens.
Ended up with 3 picks out of 45 total in a 15 set draft of 41075, and I was pretty happy snagging so many leaves and so much dark red in general. Can already see some of this being used for SHIPTember.....

May 5th, 1944,
The day my life changed. I turned 19 the day before, so I was very surprised I wasn't drafted the year before, I thought maybe by the grace of God I wouldn't get called up. My older brother died in the battle of Guadalcanal the year before, so my parents didn't want to lose me as well, since my younger brothers weren't old enough to work the farm. Later that day, I went to get the mail, and I was horrified to see: "United States army" on the front. I knew I had been drafted. I showed it to my parents, and my mother began to cry. I'll have to go to the recruitment center tomorrow.

This is going to be at least a 5 part series, so enjoy!
This is probably going to be the worst build in this series, since I've never built a farm before.
