Buster and I have been hanging out at my parents house, since I had surgery on Monday. I had a benign tumour scraped from my bone in my right hand, and a bone graft taken from my hip. Surgery went well, and I am recovering well. I was feeling camera deprived, so I made some attempts at photos. Not easy being right handed, and the surgery and cast being on my right hand. Figured out how to hold the camera with my left hand, and push the shutter with my right index finger. I thought something was wrong with my camera, as my shots were coming out with white 'blob'...then I realized it was the cast portion on my fingers getting in front of the lens ;)
Thursday night I returned to Providence with bryanj87
and Macedo295 for some additional night shooting. We started at the Point St. Bridge and continued south from there. It was easy to manage the cold with enough layers but the wind posed quite a challenge. Camera shake and wind driven debris were quite common, changing lenses was not.
We concluded the night on the overpass itself. There were a variety of vehicles to photograph including this proud bulldozer. Inspired by judyboy and efatzo.
it's been a long week.
despite the fact we had two late-start days and a half day (due to ridiculous amounts of testing), it really dragged on.
i'm glad it's overrr.
