I came across these doodles by my father while I was archiving family photos and history. They were done in his senior year in 1928-29, or during his first year at the University of Alabama. The graduation photo is from 1929.

catching up on letter writing, a few postcards, and even a little doodling.

I'm back on Flickr and couldn't be more excited! I'm excited to join a new community dedicated to the rapidly changing digital media canvas.

"You're the echoes of my everything,

You're the emptiness the whole world sings at night.

You're the laziness of afternoon,

You're the reason why I burst and why I bloom.

You're the leaky sink of sentiment,

You're the failed attempts I never could forget.

You're the metaphors I can't create

to comprehend this curse that I call love-

How will I break the news to you?"

My Flickr friends, I'm finding it quite difficult to type this morning. Yesterday I aggravated my right (dominant) shoulder where I have a hole in the rotator cuff and using my right arm in certain ways is painful. So I'm going to take a break from commenting.

I don't know how long a break. ;-( I will be back! I can look at your pix and fave them but I won't be leaving comments... I hope your new week is peaceful and productive!

It started with three things and turned into 25.

THERE ARE TOO MANY ROUND THINGS.
