Men are generally more law-abiding than women. Women have the feeling that since they didn't make the rules, the rules have nothing to do with them.

well, it’s been weeks since i finished knitting this sweater, but today i FINALLY both found buttons i like and got them sewn on — so it’s officially done, hooray! thanks to Hélène Magnússon for the pattern and the knit-along!
(note, the buttonholes are a bit too loose, will have to sew to narrow, and then sleeves are a bit too long -- but better that than too small or too short!)
and if you'd like to make your own, the pattern is available here: icelandicknitter.com/product/kristylopi/
I wanted to do something with the accessories and fig from the new City tractor, so this is what came of that after a day of building. I also utilized some old chrome plates that were gathering dust. The gaps were included on purpose, as were the older/cracked bricks. The wheel/tire combo was done by Adam first, I believe.
Posing for it this time.
Thank you everyone for your visits, faves and comments, they are always appreciated :)

This building looks nothing like this now - completely renovated. Glad they were able to save it.
This photo does not do justice to the magenta intensity, but close enough. I shampooed out the dye instead of just rinsing to take down the color a bit and to help prevent staining.
We're back, we went 2 and 2, and came home Friday. The neverending baseball season is finally over. They represented the state well, and had an experience of a lifetime. They made us so proud with their play, their heart and their sportsmanship. {{excuse the mommy gushing :c) }}
.....and now we can concentrate on football!!! woohoo!
finished except for buttons — this sweater has been hard-fought to make and is FULL of mistakes and imperfections — but i still can’t believe i made a sweater. and looking forward to making a second with fewer mistakes...
Taken in the early morning hours at the Hill Yard in Aurora, IL. The fog was so thick in the air it put a layer of dew on everything that was exposed within a matter of minutes. Good thing that the Pentax K20D is a sealed camera. Some slight white balance correction done in PSE 7.0.
