Well not quite..........
Exeter Central's Dispatcher has just seen off GWR's Sprinter unit 150265 working the 9.55pm to Exeter St Davids (2E57) station, about a half a mile down the hill. The unit had arrived into platform 3 a few minutes earlier from Barnstaple, at which time it became an empty stock working (5E57) as it transferred from platform 3 to platform 2.
With the 9.,55pm terminating at St David's the temptation is to think it will then head for the stabling point for a night's rest. Apparently not - it then becomes the 10.31pm to Exmouth (2F51), so once again passing through Central station.
There's still a couple of hours of work left for the Dispatcher too - the last scheduled train on this day is the late evening Waterloo - Exeter St David's, due off at 11.58pm. With luck it will be 'locked doors' around midnight!

I decided to make oldest granddaughter a pair of fingerless gloves for Christmas. I usually try to make them all somethin using a puff stitch which I have never tried that stitch before. I think it turned out not too bad. I had some purple wool hanging around and she loves purple.

Staying on a hotel right next to a busy airport is something I have never done in my life. Luckily for me, a training that i decided to take a few months back took place on a hotel overlooking Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport, world's busiest airport for more than a decade. And since my room had an excellent view of the take-off run, i decided to take advantage of it and try a few panning shots. This was the very first panning atempt for me and as you can imagine, i took quite a few photos with onle a couple of them being worth posting. Now I am not an aviation expert so I have literally no clue what this aircraft or other details about it so if anyone knows that kind of stuff, please feel free to provide info on a comment and I will add it to the description.

Μεχρι τωρα στη ζωη μου δεν ειχε τυχει να διαμεινω σε ενα ξενοδοχειο το οποιο να βρισκεται διπλα σε καποιο αεροδρομιο. Ευτυχως για μενα, ενα σεμιναριο που παρακολουθησα προσφατα ελαβε χωρα σε ενα ξενοδοχειο το οποιο εχει θεα στο Διεθνες Αεροδρομιο της Ατλαντα το οποιο μαλλιστα επι περισσοτερο απο μια δεκατια ειναι στην κορυφη των αεροδρομιων οσον αφορα των αριθμο ταξιδιωτων. Και αφου το δωματιο μου ειχε καλη θεα στο διαδρομο απογειωσης, ειπα να δοκιμασω μερικες ληψεις panning. Προκειται για την πρωτη μου προσπαθεια σε αυτο το ειδος φωτογραφιας οποτε οπως μπορειτε να φανταστειτε τραβηξε πολλες φωτογραφιες με μονο 1-2 να αξιζουν να ποσταριστουν. Καθως δεν ειμαι ειδικος σε θεματα αεροπλοιας, δεν εχω την παραμικρη ιδεα τι ειδους αεροσκαφος ειναι αυτο συνεπως αν καποιος ειναι γνωστης παρακαλω ας δωσει λεπτομερειες επι αυτου και θα τις προσθεσω στην περιγραφη!

My third magazine article just got published. It was how to make a Beachcomber's Lamp. This is the photo they used as a full page. I'm rapt.

Despite a circular being issued to alter the Network Service Plan (a document outlining the expected consists for V/Line's services) which removed locomotive-hauled trains from the Western Line, the venerable N class has still seen use on services to Bacchus Marsh, with two used on the day of this photo.
N467 drops downhill towards Bacchus Marsh away from Parwan with commuter service 8257 from Melton.
This service originates from Southern Cross as 8237 to Melton, where it terminates, waits for a Ballarat service to run through it and continues to Bacchus Marsh under a new number. From here the train runs empty to the Maddingley stabling yard until the following weekday morning.
During 2024, it's expected the use of the N Class will be dramatically reduced, with their use on paper now limited to Bairnsdale, Warrnambool and Swan Hill, as well as some peak services to Geelong. A service to Geelong is already slated for replacement in February, with the longer distance runs pending track upgrades and stabling facilities being built.
- Bairnsdale: The evening service is still an N class pending the completion of the stabling facility.
- Warrnambool: Stage 2 of the line's upgrade is ongoing, with its completion allowing for the operation and stabling of the VLocity fleet.
- Swan Hill: No current public announcement.
The H type carriages, which are pictured, will also see their use vanish, most now stored in either Echuca or Shepparton and only two 6 carriage sets currently in traffic.
