Candid eye contact street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. His bag says "Doing Our Bit" in relation to recycling I imagine but it is a suitable title for the pandemic too as both my subject and I are wearing masks here. A 'thank you' was shared between us both after I took this. Enjoy!
The view of Baia de Alagoa (Alagoa Bay) and its seastacks as seen from the overlook near Cedros (Miradouro do Cedros). In the distance, the city of Santa Cruz dos Flores sits on a flat low bluff built by a lava “delta” which in the azores is called a fajā.

The roosting flock realizing they are not alone (to be fair i was there first)...after taking some shots it was nice to be able to retreat without alarming them - Stevenston, Ayrshire
A lone cyclist passes through the Praça do Comércio. This was taken toward the end of April while Portugal was still in lockdown.
We have been in Lisbon Portugal for the last three and a half months. Like many around the world we have been staying in a lot, going out for groceries and occasional walks around the city. Just recently we are seeing more and more people out and about as Portugal opens up to tourists, at least for the time being.

This photo was taken by my husband before we left, and he kindly let me do a tiny bit of editing. We've been told by our son that the boys are doing just fine in our absence, and they insisted on wishing everyone a
Happy Caturday!
This young ayuyu, or coconut crab, collapsed into its borrowed shell when I disturbed it.
Ayuyu are the world's largest land invertebrates and can reach body sizes up to 16 inches with leg spans more than three feet. Born in the ocean, they spend about a month as larvae before sinking to the bottom and finding shells to protect them while migrating to shore. Once ashore they live much like hermit crabs until growing a hard abdominal shell of their own and can live over 60 years with no natural predators other than other ayuyu and humans.

Do you dream, that the world will know your name
So tell me your name
Do you care, about all the little things or anything at all?
I wanna feel, all the chemicals inside I wanna feel
I wanna sunburn, just to know that I'm alive
To know I'm alive
Don't tell me if I'm dying, cause I don't wanna know
If I can't see the sun, maybe I should go
Don't wake me cause I'm dreaming, of angels on the moon
Where everyone you know, never leaves too soon
This heron is intent on finding its next meal.
Fun facts:
Great Blue Herons look enormous in flight, with a six-foot wingspan.
Both parents take turns incubating the eggs for 4 weeks.
In flight, a Great Blue Heron usually holds its head close to its body with the neck bent.
The young can first fly at about 60 days old.
I've seen them fledge for the first time and they are quite awkward but not for long as they learn to fly adeptly quite quickly.
Well now I have learned to take two or three balls with me to open fields where children often play or tiny dogs are excercising.. That way I can always get her Roma's attention..Roma rarely brings a ball back or drops it unless I have another... now who trained who?
The low tide along the Maine coast reveals a lot of cool details ... the trick is not ending up on your butt with all the slippery rocks.

A couple pronghorn antelope does relaxing in the sun. Looks like they were having a nice chat with the doe on the left saying something......
Wasn't aware that Pronghorn males are called bucks and females are called does. As a member of the superfamily Giraffoidea, the pronghorn's closest living relatives are the giraffes and okapi. They aren't technically antelopes. Definitely a unique American animal.
Thank you for taking a look!
Do you remember me...
and how you used to look at me?
Things I didn't have to say...
to make you fall in love!
'Cause I remember you!
Αnd how I used to look at you!

"Like other members of the genus Toxicodendron, T. diversilobum causes itching and allergic rashes in many humans after contact by touch or smoke inhalation. "
I think I am not allergic to it, but I don't want to 'test the water"!
