i'm not going to throw any more money into the $$ pit that has been this conversion. with the possible exception of some temporary fenders for winter riding (i'm tired of getting to class wearing cold/soaking denim).
next step is a frame/crankset upgrade. which isn't going to be for a while.

I placed all of the various items on the table and the children slowly started to touch and explore them. I gave them each a different color blue construction paper and a tray of different blues and white paint.
The children in my classroom are conducting a yellow color study. We discussed the color wheel and learned that yellow is a primary color that can be combined with other colors to make many other types of yellow.

our photo class got to go on another field trip.. the zoo!! :) the last time i was there was with my drawing class two years ago. i think it's almost an easy out but at the same time, no release forms or special car-pooling req'd :)
our classes "documentation" project will be probsbly be compiled into a book so we can all have a copy of everyone's view..

My first Sable Clubtail and quite the exciting moment. A long day of searching for odes. We spent the last couple hours in Dorchester County, Maryland. Wading a small sandy stream I spotted this little dragon on a leaf. Verified by Odonata457 I believe this is a new county record. I never imagined I'd ever get one with all the Ode experts around...but I can only claim half since he did the identification :)
The children painted with the colors that created themselves. They also used different types of collage materials. Each child created their own unique piece of artwork.
