It was extremely difficult to find something gender-neutral and springlike in my stash! Hopefully these work.
Purl Diva is hosting its annual De-stash and Do Good Sale on Saturday September 19th.
Knitters donate unused/leftover full skeins of yarn which are sold at a discount .
All proceeds from this year's sale are going to Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program. I have been involved with MCHPP for the past couple of years. The program provides a range of services including soup kitchen, food bank and food to elders. As you can imagine, demand for services keeps going up.
In order for the sale to be successful, we need your yarn donations.

The proactive member-based organization (formerly Interfaith Worker Rights Center) assists and organizes exploited workers and provides education and training as a means to prevent future abuse. They also campaign for state and national policy change and enforcement. We started the grant process with a complete brand overhaul including renaming the organization and its programs, creating a new logo system for congruency and developing a new mission and tagline. We finished with the design of their website to allow them to take their newly unified voice to the web.
