When we arrived here it was just a few weeks after was bombed by a suicide bomber who drove a gas truck outside this entrance on April 11, 2002. The explosion resulted in the death of twenty one people, among them fourteen German tourists. Amazingly, by the time we got there everything had been repaired and repainted and you would never know it was the site of a bombing.
