In his presidential address CEO & Secretary Dr. P. krishnakumar remarked that this achievement is made possible with the hard work of the students and the commitment from the faculty. Students must exhibit the same commitment in the upcoming days to excel in their career. This will help them evolve as professionals.
Mr. Sriram TV, Vice President, Strategic Projects HR from Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited is the chief guest for the occasion.
During his address, he mentioned that one should be seriously passionate about their career. They must identify a mentor and follow them religiously to be successful in their profession. Students must develop skills not only in their core domain but also in all other related areas and keep learning continuously to be successful in their respective career.
Placement offer letters were distributed for students who got successfully placed in leading prominent companies. In the current academic year 180 + companies have visited conducted campus placement drive and given around 2300+ offers for students from various colleges of NGI. Nyanzale, North Kivu, 26 April 2017: Women carrying home the rations received at the food distribution in Nyanzale. The distribution targets the most vulnerable households and will serve around 30 per cent of all displaced families. The IDP sites in Nyanzale have existed for more than ten years, but after the latest clashes many new families arrived. Rising tension and insecurity directly impact the livelihoods of the local and displaced population and worsen their vulnerability. Working on the fields is dangerous, as armed groups are controlling the hills around the small town. There are daily incidents of forced labor, robberies, abuse and rape. But most families have no other choice. Rampant insecurity also continues to severely impede humanitarian access to the affected localities. Due to the fighting, Nyanzale was off limits for several months. In April 2017, an inter-agency mission assessed the increased needs in Nyanzale, and WFP and their local partner Caritas delivered food assistance to the most vulnerable households. And on the left is Scott Alvarez who volunteered to take tickets and was then recruited to run prizes up and down the stairs to all the winners. He's a spry fella!
