The catalogue of tubular steel masts - Stahlrohrmaste - issued by the Mulheim an der Ruhr based steel pipe manufacturers "Rheinische Röhrenwerke A.G. in 1950. It covers products such as street lighting columns or masts, tramway and electric railway overhead posts and electricity distribution line equipment.
Rheinische Röhrenwerke AG was formed in 1948 but has antecedents going back to the earliest days of pipe manufacturing in Germany. It merged with Hüttenwerk Phoenix AG in 1955 and has since operated under the name of Phoenix-Rheinrohr AG Vereinigte Hütten- und Röhrenwerke.
