UIS students help to prepare bags and other donation items to be sent to people in need. Various supplies from cleaning agents, personal hygiene, and school items were packaged.
Danish Red Cross / Pakistan Red Crescent food distribution that took place for 750 families at Fathipur in the SWAT valley, Khyber Paktoonkhwa Province. These are families who have been cut off by the floods because roads and bridges in the area have been washed away. Most had to carry their supplies for 5 hours back to their villages.

In New York, Bloomberg volunteers came together across 2 weeks to pack 500,000 meals. In partnership with US Hunger, these meals will be distributed to local neighbors in need by our nonprofit partners: City Harvest, River Fund, and NY Common Pantry.
Families who registered with ANERA through local partner organizations are receiving a number to avoid waiting too long in the queue.
