I call these sort of holes in trees 'fairy doors', there are a couple on a mound in the wood. I find anything with a naturally occurring hole to be a bit special, like hagstones.

Taken using Slow Shutter on The Interlslander ferry coming into Wellington harbour, this gentlemen quickly took a few snaps out the window, then apologied to everyone for taking up the view for a few seconds.

Processed in Snapseed, Handyphoto, Phototoaster, Blender, DistressedFX and Titles.

A man in a beret on a bike... couldn't get more French than that! This shot is taken on Royal Street but no matter where I walked, this by-gone era feeling was everywhere.
