We are in the throes of a serious heat wave this weekend, which makes for stark contrasts, shadows, and staying inside most of the time! Caught this shot yesterday morning at my sister's house. It is an older home and I love the windows and wood siding.

A surprise around every corner! Shopping in Del Mar on a drizzly day kept the crowds away. This display was a surprise.

The airlines are starting to fly again! A picture of the contrails juxtaposed to the waning moon in a heavily cropped zoom taken with the iPhone X Max. I took the photo standing on my back porch and did some further work using the Distressed FX app and sharpened with the Photoshop Express app.

Apps: Native iPhoneX camera, DistressedFX, Brushstroke, SuperimposeX, Formulas. This piece is a part of my ongoing environmental texture series. The base image was a paint spill on the concrete floor at my local Lowe’s, which I then manipulated in Distressed and Brushstroke to create various versions. To offset the random shape of the spill I layered onto it a grid of colors and other texture images from my archive.

Taken at the Isabella Gardner Museum in Boston with my iPhone 7plus. And processed with Phototoaster, Enlight and Distressedfx.
