Being a seasoned citizen of many political shifts and epochs, I have become increasingly dismayed at how far our media, educational institutions and politicians will go to absurdly distort our view of the world and to divide us from each other.

I try to ask myself what a photo might mean to me, if anything other than, "Hey, it's pretty". I've had this photo for some time and expressing my dismay is its best use for me.

Passing through Tarbert,Harris I thought this scene looked gorgeous

Triglav National Park

There is very little post-processing here, besides standard levels adjustment.

More images from our permitted exercise walk yesterday, on an icy stretch of the Cleveland Way. I had my wide angle lens on which gave some distortion as I crouched to control the bright sunlight. The ground seemed to be covered in crystal balls. Wooden and wire fences became beautiful ice sculptures.

Leg distortion in the Aegean Sea. Not planned. I was as surprised as you may have been when I saw it!!!

Thanks for visiting.

All the best......

When the world feels distorted, art will bring us together. HSS!

Another way of looking at the reflections of three telephone poles reflecting in the wake of our canoe while paddling the Cornwall Canal. Of course, the image is rotated.

The title is a stretch (pun intended). The photo is of a houseboat, “parked” on the grounds of Trapezium Brewing Co., in Petersburg, VA.

Still playing with the fish-eye…

“God is the poet of the world, with tender patience leading it,” wrote Whitehead, in a “vision of truth, beauty, and goodness.” 16 These values are pure possibilities, only actualized in the particular becomings of the creation. The content of the divine aim for the particular creature is that moment’s best possibility. Thus the divine is within each of us, as an influence, an influx of desire—whether or not we share that desire as our own. In this sense the aim is like the ancient concept of prevenient grace. Amidst the mess of our past stuff and present inclinations, God calls. Love lures and lets be. Our mess becomes our potential. And we creatures be-come, come forth. You this moment come forth, a wave freshly breaking on the face of the deep. In an ocean of overlapping waves, all new, all different.

Early winter at Canyon Park

From Børglum Abbey. The room with the copy og the Bayeux Tapestry.

Un nuevo trabajo en símbolo de volver con nuevas técnicas y por más, he estado alejado de la foto pero tengo mas de que entregar, lo nuevo.

I’m not sure that we understand the significance of this error: the human being, reduced to his biological and sociological antecedents, becomes a puppet, a marionette in the hands of “superhuman forces.” And thus there is no more “I.” The “I” is like a stone that is swept away by the current of these forces. The “I” as a personal, autonomous reality, with a capacity for freedom, able to act as a subject in history and circumstances, is no more, because everything is unloaded on antecedents of every type: psychological, social, or biological. Polito calls it the “opiate of de-responsibilization.” Without the “I,” without freedom—because everything is determined by these factors—what responsibility is possible in the face of reality’s provocations?
