Often, when one looks in the mirror, how you perceive yourself in the mind is different from what you actually see. This is definitely the case here; the tree's reflection is quite different from the the original - but don't forget that the original is still beautiful.

It's one thing to question your mind. It's another to question your eyes and ears. But then again, isn't it all the same? Our senses just mediocre inputs for our brain? Sure, we rely on them, trust they accurately portray the real world around us. But what if the haunting truth is they can't? That what we perceive isn't the real world at all, but just our mind's best guess? That all we really have is a garbled reality, a fuzzy picture we will never truly make out?
The reflections of the 5 sails that top the PanPacific Hotel, downtown Vancouver, take on the intended artistic slant of a contorted appearance.
Applied a bit of distortion to that massive crowd to make it more interesting (perspective-wise).
Enjoy!

The new Axel Springer building opened in October 2020 after four years of construction and is located in the center of the former newspaper district, directly on the former inner-German border, which runs right through the building.
The design for the modern office building was by renowned Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas (Office for Metropolitan Architecture). The light-filled, cube-shaped building is located in close proximity to the two Axel Springer high-rises and the Axel Springer Passage. The building's interior features interconnected terraces and a 45-meter-high atrium. Tinted glass surfaces and 3D-effect structural elements form the facade.

Laowa 2X Macro - f/8.0
Since this is a totally manual lens, the camera doesn't record most of the EXIF data. Learning to use this lens is definitely a 'work in progress' for me. My other macro lens is a 50mm Zeiss, which basically makes everything look better. I think maybe the Laowa lens requires a certain skill (which I don't have just yet) to create a quality image.
The spoon is a small vintage "grapefruit" spoon. The bowl of this spoon at this angle is 1.5" wide. Super 2X macro is a wonderful thing !!
