This was INCREDIBLY cool! You put a small cardboard disc on the 'table' and it would allow you to play games, send text, watch tv or play music. Devin was showing us the music interface, you could 'scratch' the record, change songs and remove the needle. The tv, you could rotate the cardboard disc and it would 'change the channel'. All very modern and interesting to this techno geek :)

Here is the "Funnel Cake" food booth display located at the Mississippi State fair.

 

The Mississippi State Fair takes place in Jackson Mississippi USA every year during the 1st part of October. The fair last for approximately 1½ weeks. In 2008, it runs from October 1st through October 11.

Finally! Dual displays! I got a fabulous deal on the widescreen on the left. It's crispy in dark!

This Thanksgiving display appeared in the lobby of the Comfort Inn where we stayed while visiting my parents.

Each one is different, and all of them are awesome.

Sewing machine cabinet - filled w/items. Now to take it back apart and transport it...woo.

Vintage Colonial paper dolls, a couple of vintage kid's history books, and a reeeeeeally old postcard. (I think it was 1907?) The tin bucket is new, but it's filled with vintage army men. The whale is an awesome toy that belongs to my friend Rob, it was his as a kid. It's mouth unzips, he reverses, and becomes Jonah.
