Theology On Tap is like a lecture styled talk and discussion in a pub! Not surprisingly (and surprisingly in some experiences) the Theology On Tap experience is a eye opening to meet heaps of young people interested about their faith and not afraid to discuss and share it with their friends. I highly recommend this to Catholics and non-Catholics, the non believers of faith, the people who think they know it all, scientologists and people from other religions (come and hear what We Believe!)
Tonights session was with Archbishop George Pell of the Sydney Archdiocese and his topic was:
"Popes: Vicars of Christ or Anti-Christs?"
He provided examples of why we need One Pope and the importance of the Pope and why some Popes in our History "got it wrong". He talked through the history of Popes, their authority and their presence in History...very interesting and engaging...
