PixQuote:
"The man who lives in his eyes is continually confronted with scenes and spectacles that compel his attention or admiration and demand an adequate reaction. To pass on without pause is impossible and to continue after purely mental applause is unsatisfying: some real tribute must be paid. Photography, to many of its addicts, is a convenient and simple means of discharging these ever-recurring debts to the visual world."

Now winter nights enlarge
The number of their hours,
And clouds their storms discharge
Upon the airy towers.

The Swedish artist Henrik Håkansson (*1968 in Helsingborg, S; lives in Berlin and Falkenberg, S) became internationally famous with his installations. They deal with the consequence of the human influence on the environment. He combines cinematic and sculptural elements and acquires the role of the interloper and the destroyer, as well as the creator and carer of the growth of nature.
In the centre of the exhibition A tree (suspended) will stay a beech, which was already discharged by the forester. By request of the artist the beech was removed with the rooting.

The Fraser River is the longest river within British Columbia, Canada, rising at Fraser Pass near Blackrock Mountain in the Rocky Mountains and flowing for 1,375 kilometres (854 mi), into the Strait of Georgia just south of the City of Vancouver. The river's annual discharge at its mouth is 112 cubic kilometres (27 cu mi) or 3,550 cubic metres per second (125,000 cu ft/s), and each year it discharges about 20 million tons of sediment into the ocean.
The river is named after Simon Fraser, who led an expedition in 1808 on behalf of the North West Company.

The Eau flows through the village of Scotter, The source of the river is near Harpswell, at the foot of the Lincolnshire Edge, and it joins the tidal River Trent at Barlings, near Scotter. Unlike other rivers that drain into the tidal Trent, there is no pumping station associated with the outfall, it relies on gravity to discharge during periods of tidal low water

60083 ‘Shining Tor’ trundles west past Washwood Heath with one of Redland’ Self-Discharge Trains (SDT), probably returning empty as 6m31, the 0931 from Banbury to Mountsorrel.
In this time of the shadow freight companies, 60083 was operated by Mainline Freight. Beginning in June 1994, Mainline operated contracts originating geographically from the East Midlands and the South East, including traffic from the loading point at Mountsorrel in Leicestershire.
60083 had been in service for just over 3 years when I captured it here. Having been delivered in Railfreight Construction livery, by late 1994 it had lost its subsector markings ahead of carrying Mainline Freight branding.
The self-discharge train was introduced by Redland Aggregates in 1988 as an innovative solution for delivering aggregates to terminals with minimal facilities. The conventional appearance of the wagons hid a conveyor belt that ran under the length of the train. The stone was then moved onto a further conveyor on a specialist wagon fitted with a rotating boom, allowing direct loading into stockpiles.
The self-discharge trains ceased operating in 2016 after an accident: in June 2016 the rotating boom of one train stabled at Mountsorrel fouled the running line and hit a passenger train. The trains were subsequently stored and broken up in 2017.

ENGLISH:
The Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park is a protected natural area and one of the largest wetlands of importance located in the Spanish autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha. The natural park is made up of a group of 16 river lagoons or pools along the Guadiana Viejo valley, as a continuation of the Pinilla River by its southeastern inflow, and by its northeastern inflow along the Arroyo Alarconcillo; separated and connected to each other by barriers of tufaceous or travertine formation. The difference in height between them makes the water flow through streams, waterfalls and falls, from one lagoon to another. Although man-made, the Peñarroya reservoir is also part of the park, due to its contribution to the management of water resources. These river lagoons, from a hydrological-structural point of view, are classified within the hydrowetlands of discharge.
