Reality can be perceived as positive because it is positive. We are not talking about “baptizing” reality starting from a religious preconception, a “pious” vision, but about recognizing it in its ultimate nature. Reality is ontologically positive. Why? Reality is positive because it exists. Everything that exists is there because the Mystery permitted it to happen (everything, in fact, has an origin in a mysterious Something; nothing makes itself); it provokes and sets the person in motion, it represents an invitation to change, an occasion to take a step toward one’s own destiny. Every circumstance is the path and the instrument of our journey—it is a sign. Insomuch as it is there, reality is a provocation, and therefore the occasion for the reawakening of the “I” from its inertia.

Grazie Abel.
Today, EU Special Forces failed to disarm what was believed to be a dirty bomb in the center of London. Detonated near Buckingham palace, authorities are scrambing to contain the situation. Current projections released by the Ministry of Defense state that they are expecting nearly 2,000,000 casualties. Minister Fallon has been quoted as saying that "Those responsible will be brought to justice." Meanwhile EU forces around the globe have been ordered to full alert and to expect an attack without the slightest provocation. This is Jamie Austin with BBCOne signing off.

I am wearing Disarm by Spellbound! I'm super excited about this hair because it is unrigged so I can get it to fit pretty much any head. It is a split tone so you can make the left side one color and the right another which I am not doing in the photo but I could have! It is available at The Chapter Four's "Hidden Chapter" along with Honey in the normal rooms in my next photo! To get to the hidden chapter you have to jump down the well! maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Dreamlove/133/130/1236
Pieter Paul Rubens (1577-1640) Venus and Mars (1632-1635) - White Palace Genova
The painting, looks like an allegory: Love disarms Mars, god of war, who, astonished, surrenders to the provocative charm of Venus and drunkenness caused by wine contained in the silver flask and cup, offered by Bacchus, the god the joy of living.

This little guy has been through a lot and now faces life with a positive, enthusiastic attitude that disarms even the grumpiest of encounters.
Ruthven Barracks were built by George II’s government in the early 1700s after the failed Jacobite uprising of 1715. The troops stationed there were to maintain law and order and enforce the Disarming Act of 1716.
The barracks saw action twice. A 300-strong Jacobite attack failed to take the barracks in 1745, but a more heavily-armed attack the next year forced the barracks’ surrender. The Jacobites rallied here after their defeat at Culloden before conceding.
forse la mia rabbia è disperata come me, e come tutti i miei fratelli disarmati, sfiniti, atterriti.

This Great Northern Diver has been eating dozens of crayfish from Boshaw Whams reservoir near Holmfirth. It seems to catch and eat one about every five minutes, swallowing it whole. But every time I have seen it surface with a crayfish they have been clawless. I looked at other photos of it too and I haven't seen one with claws in the beak of this diver. Now crayfish have powerful claws and can deliver a painful nip but could cause damage to a diver, particularly the eyes. Take a look at the claws on this Signal Crayfish I took locally: www.flickr.com/photos/timmelling/14641071901/in/photolist I realise that crayfish can lose claws, but the large number of clawless animals makes me wonder whether the diver is disarming the crayfish before it brings them to the surface. The crayfish had to be manoeuvred into a suitable position before the diver could swallow them. There is a biosecurity noticeboard at the reservoir warning about non-native Turkish Crayfish (Pontastacus leptodactylus), also known as Narrow-clawed Crayfish because they have noticeably narrower claws than the American Signal Crayfish (Pacifastacus leniusculus). I think the crayfish in Boshaw Whams are Narrow-clawed, but as I haven't seen any with claws yet I cannot be sure. The native White-clawed Crayfish (Austropotamobius pallipes) is now very rare because diseases brought in by non-native crayfish are fatal to the native species. Here's a photo of the rare native White-clawed Crayfish taken at another site in West Yorkshire: www.flickr.com/photos/timmelling/9831997276/in/photolist

When does the Christmas tree disarm?
Some say you have to leave it for a month, others just after the Kings have to take it out, a Catholic tradition indicates that you have to take it apart on the day of the baptism of Jesus Christ. In your house when you take it apart?
When does the Christmas tree disarm?
The traditional Christmas tree is assembled on December 8, the day of the immaculate conception of Mary, of that there is no discussion. But where there is no agreement is on the date it is disarmed.
The Christmas tree is the protagonist on Christmas Eve, next to the manger, and at Christmas to receive gifts. Until January 6 it is important to have it armed because on the 5th the "Kings" pass by and also leave gifts at the foot of the tree.
So you have to take it apart after Reyes? Many say yes, that he has already fulfilled his role. However, others recommend doing so on January 8, because you must be armed for a month.
But another theory, linked to the Catholic religion that extends Christmas time a bit more, points out that January 11, the day of the baptism of Jesus Christ, is the last key date for the tree. On 6, 8, 11. What date do you choose in your home to disassemble the traditional tree?
While I have the equipment disarmed to make some improvements especially on the focuser to avoid tilts on the imaging train and guidescope mount to avoid differential flexing, I set about reprocessing some recent images, trying to apply everything I have learned lately.
I Hope you enjoy it, clear skies!

The Bell by Ralph Waldo Emerson
I love thy music, mellow bell,
I love thine iron chime,
To life or death, to heaven or hell,
Which calls the sons of Time.
Thy voice upon the deep
The home-bound sea-boy hails,
It charms his cares to sleep,
It cheers him as he sails.
To house of God and heavenly joys
Thy summons called our sires,
And good men thought thy sacred voice
Disarmed the thunder's fires.
And soon thy music, sad death-bell,
Shall lift its notes once more,
And mix my requiem with the wind
That sweeps my native shore.

And leave you like they left me here
To wither in denial
The bitterness of one who's left alone
Ooh, the years burn
Ooh, the years burn, burn, burn"

“Right,” said Harry, when she had sat down again, “shall we get practicing then? I was thinking, the first thing we should do is Expelliarmus, you know, the Disarming Charm. I know it’s pretty basic but I’ve found it really useful —”
“Oh please,” said Zacharias Smith, rolling his eyes and folding his arms. “I don’t think Expelliarmus is exactly going to help us against You-Know-Who, do you?”
“I’ve used it against him,” said Harry quietly. “It saved my life last June.”
Smith opened his mouth stupidly. The rest of the room was very quiet.
“But if you think it’s beneath you, you can leave,” Harry said.
Smith did not move. Nor did anybody else.

So here’s the room of requirement. Wasn’t easy to take this picture because the clips of the Death Eater Puppet dont hold together so well and especially the wheel tends to jump apart.
