Leica Mini-II
Agfa Vista 200 (aka Fuji 200N)
My friend Stephen found a Leica Mini-II ("badge-engineered" Minolta point-and-shoot 35mm camera from the 1990s) at an estate sale. I traded him a sandwich and a roll of film for it.
I recently became affianced to the woman standing in the circle.

Spring, Little River, Tennessee.
Fresh water, clear and fast, moves through the steep hillsides, heading towards Metcalf Bottoms. It's spring in the Smokies, new leaves are still wrinkled green claws, and flowers adorn the branches and flesh out on hillsides. Here on the banks, the white noise of the river is the only audio I hear--no phones, no questions, no cacophony of machines. The change from the barreness of winter is dramatic. Small wonder that spring is connected with love. Life is new , the air is fragrant and fresh, color is intense after the long brown months. Spring makes the blood quicken, like the water rushing by me. I wish I could stop it here, hold it, make it last. But seasons are time, on the move like the river. Dogwood arms usher it ahead in the direction of flow. I take a deep breath, inhaling hope and anticipation, and head downstream.

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.”
― Helen Keller
It's incredibly easy to get loss within yourself. Giving yourself misguided directions, lying to yourself. Having the same delusional thoughts that led to nowhere. Always falling back to the familiar places, places that are long gone.

Renaissance Town Hall in Bardejov is a one-storey building of a block character, located on a regular rectangular plan view with a longer side in the north-south direction. It is characterized by high side shields of saddle tile roof and Renaissance oriel window on its east side, accessing the second floor. On the shield of the northern façade there are three carved windows and a town sign. The gable of the southern façade is completed by four windows, a clock and painted coats of arms of the town and Kingdom of Hungary. At the top of the southern gable stands the figure of the legendary knight Roland with a halberd (the work of master Ján of Prešov dated around 1509), a symbolic protector of town privileges. The original stone statue was replaced in 1641 by a wooden one covered with copper sheet. The current statue is a copy and is made entirely of copper sheet. The windows on all facades have the same shapes. Both roof gables are complemented by groups of statues and crockets – the southern gable: a lion, a man with beard, a cat, a monkey, a cloth merchant, the northern gable: a demon, a man with an hourglass, a dragon, a king, a stonemason and a man with a stick. As a monument of supraregional importance, the town hall, together with other monuments of the historic centre in Bardejov, was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000.
a sailboat drifts quietly across the horizon, its presence fragile and fleeting behind the ghostly silhouette of a weathered wind vane. the photograph breathes in opposites—clarity and blur, distance and nearness, control and surrender. it’s as if the elements themselves have paused, allowing one fleeting moment of stillness to speak louder than movement.
I can't wait for my new lens to arrive. ♥ I'll be out every single second. Now only this freaking snow has to disappear!

I'm obsessed with the wild flowers that grow throughout the Okanagan in the spring the Arrowleaf Basal.I swear this year the flowers have been blooming everywhere in large quantities of numbers. Maybe, I've always been busy with school around this time to pay attention to these flowers. This year I am glad to report I spent some real quality time in these field of flowers :)
