soooooo I loved the wallpaper in Kathleens grandmothers apartment. I figured it would be a perfect opportunity for a shot, so I decided to place the chair by the wall underneath the candle stick and bounce my SB600 off of the ceiling being that they weren't extremely high. I love the outcome and the gloomy look of this photo.
Yes I know what you are thinking "Another pink one?" Sorry folks, I promise to move on to another colour soon :)

this is the first time in our married life of over 40 years that we have had a dedicated dining space. And I think I'm going to have some fun photographing with the mirror. I find it hard to gauge colour, tone . . . indeed anything on my laptop and have to go to my Ipad to see if what I have uploaded is okay. I can't wait to be reunited with my monitor. The builder has found a damp patch in my "to be" study, so I hope this doesn't keep me away from flickr any longer than a few days. Peter's room is finished and he is thrilled.
I am sorry to be away from flickr, but find the conditions in the kitchen too difficult to work for longer than a quick upload. Again, many thanks to those of you who still visit, and I look forward to visiting your photostreams as soon as I am established in my room . . .
This small House Wren has landed a great lunch. They are so small and quick, but this project had his or her full attention.
