Feels like I've not been out with the camera for yonks now! As some of you know I have a dodgy knee. Basically it's advanced osteoarthritis of my left knee. Bone on bone to be precise and I'm gonna need surgery at some point. Not holding out much hope on that happening soon due to the obvious!
With moving house recently I've also had a fair bit of DiY to do. Hence I reluctantly had to quit my 366 project :(
When I finished work today I decided to 'sod it' and took off to a local wood to try and capture some autumn colours.
Sat in the shadow of Alton Towers is Dimmings Dale. A fabulous walk amongst an ancient woodland with a tributary of the River Churnet disecting it. Didn't really have the spectacular colour I was hoping for but it was grand to be out.
Suffering now but hopefully the wacky tablets the doc has prescribed will kick in soon!

My version of rwBricks entry to my contest, which ended up winning the whole thing. He'll definitely show up in CCR at some point, or a different flash related story. (Still working things out) Here's a link to his original entry.

The dimming of the sun and its consequences....
Pollutants in the air block the sun. But these same pollutants have superfically suppressed the effects of global warming. But not for long. Time is running out for the nations of the world to drastically reduce pollution of our air and its consequence of the altering of the earth's climate.
My painting was inspired by The PBS Nova program which recently explored this earth-endangering situation.
