Love these elusive little red-eyed birds that tend to stay on the ground, feeding and hiding in around the edges of the yard. When one ventures above the ground and sits long enough for a photo, it makes it a good day.

I read in the morning about the storm warning over the British islands, the ice cold winter in Canada and even Florida has gotten winter. Thinking of you all, for the inconvenience the snow and the weather is causing you.
And here we sit and complain that we have no snow yet.
Sorry if I'm tricking out all of you, who really have cold weather and do not like it.

So, every thing started at the moment I saw the original photograph of those beautiful hydrangeas taken by my dear friend Richard Eshelby.
So, the temptaion of painting the whole scenery from scratch in Painter was irresistible, but I didn't know what I was getting myself into. The whole digital painting took me 2 months to finish, yet it wasn't enough. I had to make e composition in Ps with that painting. So, this is the result. And, you can see the amazing original photograph in the link below.
The background is the mixture of several textures, and the hydrangeas hanging out from the frame are png images from google.
No AI is used in this image.

What a wonderful and unexpected surprise! Because of the bounty of abundant (some might say relentless, lol) sunshine this summer, the autumn Anemones are already blooming in August. This beautiful Anemone deserved to be painted.

This is a little November vignette from my daily walk with Emmy. I love how the ferns (bracken?) often turn a lovely gold as they undergo their seasonal fade until new fronds unfurl in spring.

The bobcat (Lynx rufus), also known as the red lynx, is a medium-sized cat native to North America. The small tufts on a bobcat's ears are difficult to spot at even moderate distance. The bobcat is crepuscular, and is active mostly during twilight.

My feelings from space.
Sending healings and a bokeh of light
to our Alfie who is still very ill.
Today August 4th,2021 readmission to the clinic because he is in pain and can not eat. Ultrasound scan shows a lot of air in the abdomen. Will be put on an IV and nasogastric tube. To determine further blood tests for kidney functions.
Alf is not Alf anymore, luckily he had some weight reserves!
Oh sweet Alfie, please be strong 🙏 our dearest friend!
We are so sad, we don't want to lose you!

has passed away ♱ on August 5th 2021
We miss you so much my darling!
