These old tin cans were setting out under a couple of feet of snow all winter, and have just re-emerged. When I spotted them in the early morning sun - I liked the color and shadows surrounding them. So basically - here is my photo of "junk", exactly as they laid all winter.
Thank you so much for taking the time to view my work :)

I couldn't resist taking this photo when I saw these flowers inthe doorway of a shop.

After watching a video on Basic Macro Photography by Adam from 'First Man Photography' on YouTube, I was inspired to come up with this ... just for fun.
1 x Macro Lens,
1 x 20mm Extension Tube,
1 x drop-in Sunset,
& Half a Mushroom!
A shadowy industrial building basement area with a little red and black thrown in to amp up the spooky flavor.
In July, Alaska is awash in wildflowers. The roads sides are lined with blues, yellows, purples and pinks, that run on for many miles. Mother Natures colors add a beautiful touch to photos.
I'm fascinated by the way that these additional stripes of color sometimes enhance and sometimes detract from from how much I like an image.

With all the talk over the last two days about a “Supermoon” it seemed like the perfect time to repost a photo of September 2015’s Supermoon Eclipse that I took in front of Station 9. ;-)

"Sunday's Supermoon Eclipse as viewed from Station 9 was quite impressive really."
In the spirit of full disclosure though I must mention that the moon may appear slightly larger in this photograph than it did in real life.
I was hoping to capture (perhaps a bit unfairly) something pretty amazing when I first heard about the "Supermoon Eclipse". What I got instead after being out there for about an hour was a picture with the moon about the size of the truck (the ball) on the top of the flagpole.
So... I just created my own image for fun (and practice).
My contribution to the "Good Panda" photo group. I did this in Photoshop Elements 15 on the photo that I took for the Hereios group.
An old photo back in 2011 that I had re-edited. Originally shot with an Olympus E-520.
The guy on the right looks quite initimidating even though not one piece of the chess has moved yet 😂.
Enjoy your day my friends!
