Oct. 9, 2020 is the 57th anniversary of the man-made Vajont Dam disaster in western Friuli. The dam was in the final stages of testing, with water being pumped into and out of the reservoir behind the dam. Due to incompetent and possibly corrupt geologic surveying, the dam was sited in a geologically unsuitable place. The thinly bedded and deformed sedimentary rocks above the dam were too unstable to withstand the repeated soaking and drying of the test cycles, and a landslide occurred. The sudden impact of debris from the landslide displaced massive amounts of water from the reservoir, sending a tsunami up the sides of the gorge and over the dam. The dam actually held, but the tsunami wiped out villages like Erto and Casso above the dam, and Longarone below. So sad, and so avoidable.

Their LP "Mi Gente, Mi Revolución" has been a hit in Mexico and they have shared stage with international artist as Job For a Cowboy, All That Remains, All Shall Perish, The Faceless, Despised Icon, Aborted, Chimaira, August Burns Red, Winds Of Plague, Within the Ruins.
The name of the band is an invitation to never give up, at the same time that this is the principal message that they try to show us in their lyrics, direct and furious lyrics.

A watercolour inspired by a great picture from one of my dear friends, Digão, i've loved this picture since first time i layed eyes on it. With such gorgeous reference there's nothing that can go wrong.. besides that building on the background, man! I hate that building, it kind of made me get tired of trying.
Uma aquerela feita a partir de uma foto linda do Digão, eu amo essa foto desde a primeira vez que a vi. Com uma referencia dessas não tem o que dar errado... fora aquele maldito prédio ao longe, que me deixou cansada demais pra continuar tentando acertá-lo.
