Acara hari itu merupakan salah satu rangkaian dari Knowledge Sharing yang diselenggarakan oleh departemen Learning & Development untuk membagi pengetahuan seputar kesehatan kepada karyawan Sewatama.
Disiarkan secara live di 6 kota (Pulogadung, Surabaya, Balikpapan, Jayapura dan Meppogen), acara dimulai pukul 9.15 pagi dan dibuka oleh Ibu Mutiara Dewi Ariani dan dilanjutkan dengan safety briefing oleh Bapak Yudi Hariyawan dari departemen SHE.
“Apakah yang pasti dari hidup kita? Setiap orang pasti menua. Tapi tidak semua orang akan sakit dikemudian hari, karena tidak ada yang namanya sakit tua. Semua yang terjadi dikemudian hari merupakan hasil dari apa yang kita kerjakan selama kita hidup sebelumnya” buka dr. Luna pada awal acara.
Pagi itu, dokter Luna menjelaskan mengenai penyakit-penyakit yang umum menyerang perempuan maupun laki-laki di Indonesia. Penyakit-penyakit tersebut antara lain serangan jantung, stroke, hipertensi, dan kanker. Dijelaskan dalam acara tersebut, apa penyebab timbulnya penyakit-penyakit tersebut dan apa yang sebaiknya dilakukan sebagai tindakan preventif.

Rob Steele, the electric operations manager for the City of Summerside shows their 33-year-old 4.2 megawatt. The old diesel generator runs only a few times a month when PEI or Summerside needs more power. Prior to the more recent wind development the diesel plant ran for months steady. Wind power saves Summerside plenty of cash since it costs 5-6 cents for wind generation and between 25-40 cents for diesel generation. In augustus 2012 bezocht ik de Passenger Terminal Amsterdam om foto's te maken van de cruiseschepen Wind Surf (Windstar Cruises) en Eurodam (HAL).
Hier de aankomt van de imposante Wind Surf, een van de grootste cruise zeilschepen in de wereld. Ze kan max. 310 passagiers vervoeren met een bemanning van 191 koppen. Een ultra luxe zeiljacht dus. Helemaal geen oud zeiljacht, maar van 1989. Een ultra moderne 5 master met computer gestuurde zeilen met die zichzelf opvouwen. Waar nodig kan de bemanning gebruik maken van 4 dieselgeneratoren voor de stroomvoorziening en 2 electrische motoren voor de voortstuwing. Gemak dienst de mens zullen we maar zeggen...

In augustus 2012 I travelled to Amsterdam to capture the cruiseships Wind Surf (Windstar Cruises) and Eurodam (HAL| in Amsterdam.
The Wind Surf is one of the largest sailing cruise ships in the world, and can carry up to 310 passengers,[1] with a crew of 214.
Here the arrival in the Port of Amsterdam, sailing through the IJ-channel. In august 2015 the Wind Surf will be one of the ships of Sail 2015, the largest free nautical event in the world. This is no old ship, it in from 1989, and is a ultra modern sailing ship with self-furling, computer-operated sails. The ship has 4 diesel electric generating sets, 2 electrical propulsion motors.

als Schüler hatte ich mal ein Atomkraftwerk aus Pappe, so einen Bausatz. Ich dachte mir, naja vielleicht findest Du ja eine Sicherheitslücke (war ja schließlich vom Elternhaus schon anti-atomar kontaminiert). Da es doch ein ganz schön großes Projekt ist, habe ich mit dem kleinsten Gebäude angefangen was ich so finden konnte: Der Notstromversorgung. Das war ein Häuschen mit vier großen Dieselgeneratoren, weil es ja alles vierfach redundant ausgelegt sein soll. "Hmmm", dachte ich mir, "vierfach redundant? Alle vier in einem Gebäude?? Vierfach redundant am A...!". Mission erfüllt, AKW nicht weitergebaut.
Tja, und vor ein paar Tagen sah ich einen Report über die deutschen Atomkraftwerke. Es wurde ein (sehr engagierter) Sicherheitstechniker gezeigt, der stolz sein AKW präsentierte. Er zeigte auf diverse Messgeräte: "alles vierfach redundant! Und wir üben das alles in unserer Simulationsanlage in Essen!" Aha, es gibt also offensichtlich keine Reserve-Leitwarte. Also gibt es das Messgerät viermal... aber in einer einzigen Leitwarte. Leitwarte also auch: vierfache Redundanz... Chor der Leser: AM A...!!!.
Und was soll ich sagen... ich habe noch einen unberührten Bausatz gefunden, in etwas zerkratzter Plastikhülle. Es ist ein Poster und (na logo) eine Broschüre mit umfangreichen Informationen über das Sicherheitskonzept dabei. Die vierfach redundante Notstromversorgung im Bild vorne links.

Nordhausen 03.09.2005: Seit dem Jahr 2004 verkehren auf den Gleisen der Harzer Schmalspurbahnen Combino Duos der Stadtwerke Nordhausen. Auf dem HSB-Streckennetz sorgt ein eingebauter Dieselgenerator für die Stromversorgung.
Die Bahn kommt bei der örtlichen Bevölkerung sehr gut an.
Auf dem Straßenbahnnetz in Nordhausen fährt die Bahn mit Strom aus der Oberleitung.

Ösjöberg, järnmalmsgruva i Hjulsjö socken, Hällefors kommun, Örebro län (Västmanland).
Ösjöberg ligger 11 km öster om Hällefors. När gruvorna började brytas vet man inte. De omnämns för första gången i 1644 års bergmästarrelationer, och uppgavs då ha ett djup på 8 famnar. 40 år senare ska gruvan ha varit utbruten, en ny hade dock blivit upptagen bredvid. I bergmästarrelationerna från 1700-talet nämns ofta Ösjöbergsgruvan.
År 1904 byggdes en linbana till anrikningsverket i Hjulsjö. 1907 byggdes en lave vid Kärrgruvan med kompressoranläggning. Gruvan kom 1910 i AB Stjernfors-Ställdalens ägo efter att den förre ägaren, AB Bredsjö Bruk, gått i konkurs. Under lågkonjunkturen 1923 lades driften ner, men 1927 var arbetena igång igen. 1938 uppfördes en ny lave utanpå den gamla, så att driften hela tiden kunde pågå ostört. 1941 byggdes ett nytt kross- och sovringsverk. Anrikningen hade vid detta laget flyttats till Bredsjö, dit malmen skickades per linbana.
År 1961 köptes Stjernfors-Ställdalen upp av Stora Kopparbergs Bergslags AB. 1962 skedde en brand i spelhuset och ett nytt måste byggas. 1963 sattes en malmficka av plåt upp vid sovringsverket. 1964 lades gruvan ner.
Ösjöbergsgruvan köptes 1974 av Bredsjö Makadam AB. 1978 levererades 1 600 ton styckemalm till Stråssa. 1979 övertogs gruvorna av Nya Bredsjö Makadam AB. 1984 köptes gruvorna av Dan Lindgren i Hällefors.
Gruvanläggningen är idag i starkt förfall, då nästan samtliga byggnader är byggda i trä. Kvar finns kross- och sovringsverket (i mycket dåligt skick) från 1941, gruvlaven från 1938, en transformatorbyggnad och gruvkontoret, även detta mycket förfallet.
Ur Gruvarbetaren nr 3, mars 1962:
Tidigt på lördagsmorgonen den 27 januari utbröt eld i Ösjöbergsgruvans maskinhus som totalförstördes tillsammans med en stor del av maskinparken. Skadorna uppskattas till minst en halv miljon.
Förutom byggnaden som brann ned till grunden, förstördes hela maskinparken, såsom gruvspel, 3 stycken kompressorer, dieselgeneratorer samt borrmaskins- och lokdelar som förvarades i ett förråd, som inrymts i maskinhuset. Maskinhusets fjärrmanövrering för gruvspelet, som blivit klar i dagarna, och avsynats kvällen före, blev också därigenom förstört innan det kommit i något egentligt bruk. Frånsett några dagars provkörning.
Sysselsättning bibehålles
Trots den förödande branden kommer hela arbetsstyrkan – c:a 50 man – att beredas arbete. Skadorna är dock av sådan art att allt arbete i gruvan måste ligga nere, men arbetarna kommer att sysselsättas ovan jord.
Ösjöbergsgruvan som har gamla anor att falla tillbaka på stod i dagarna i en nydaningsperiod, och genom rationaliseringar skulle produktionen av malm ökas från cirka 70 000 ton per år till cirka 100 000 ton.
Av leveranserna går största delen till Bredsjö hytta, och SKF Hellefors Jernverk. I samband med de rationaliseringar som företagits har också en ny skutkross inmonterats, som ger möjlighet att öka kapaciteten. Denna kommer nu väl till pass när arbetsmetoden en tid framöver får läggas om. I gruvans närhet finns ansenliga varphögar, som man skall börja bearbeta och anrika. Anrikningsmetoderna i verket har efter hand förbättrats, och man förmodar att de ”lagrade” varphögarna skall kunna ge så mycket i utbyte att produktionen skall kunna hållas uppe i ungefär normal omfattning.
Förhoppningarna är, att vi skall vara igång om cirka en månad. En förutsättning därför är, att ett spel kommer på plats, så att hissarna åter kan köras igång, säger gruvfogde Skåhl.
Ösjöberg iron mine and its remaining buildings give a real genuine ruin athmosphere. The wooden head frame from 1938 and the crushing plant from 1941 are now in a late stage of decay, and the surrounding forest is striking back. The mine was closed in 1964.

Telkenmale wanneer ik in Kassel ben moet ik minstens toch één keer een bezoekje brengen aan de Hauptbahnhof. Het is hier dat in 1960 mijn eerste kennismaking met Kassel begon.
Naast de gewone stadstrams rijden er in Kassel ook enkele Regiotrams. Drie lijnen, RT1 naar Hofgeismar, RT4 naar Wolfhagen en RT5 naar Melsungen, verbinden de stad met de regio. Deze trams rijden vanuit het stadsnet via een tunnel en komen zo in de Hauptbahnhof (Hbf) terecht waar ze via het spoorwegennet van de DB hun reis door de regio verderzetten. Hier komt de RT1 vanuit de stad en gaat nu zijn weg verderzetten richting Hofgeismar.
Het stadsnet van Kassel wordt gevoed met 600V DC (DC=gelijkstroom) en op de bovenleiding van de DB staat 15000V AC (AC=wisselstroom). Daarvoor werden deze trams uitgerust met een dubbel stroomvoorziening systeem. In de Hbf moeten ze dan omschakelen van het 600V DC stadsnet naar het DB net met 15000V AC. Deze omschakeling gebeurt even voorbij de perrons.
Alleen de RT4 is hierop een uitzondering. Op de lijn naar Wolfhagen is er geen bovenleiding. Daarom schakelen deze trams in de Hbf over van elektrisch rijden naar een aan boord 375 kW dieselgenerator die de nodige stroom opwekt voor het te rijden traject (± 32 km).
Ter herkenning, de dubbelstroom trams dragen de nummers 701 t/m 718, de trams met dieselgenerator de nummers 751 t/m 760.
De RTG - Regio Tram Gesellschaft heeft al haar wagens de naam van een sprookje van Grimm gegeven.
Deze 714 is de "Rotkäppchen"

In augustus 2012 bezocht ik de Passenger Terminal Amsterdam om foto's te maken van de cruiseschepen Wind Surf (Windstar Cruises) en Eurodam (HAL).
Hier de aankomt van de imposante Wind Surf, een van de grootste cruise zeilschepen in de wereld. Ze kan max. 310 passagiers vervoeren met een bemanning van 191 koppen. Een ultra luxe zeiljacht dus. Helemaal geen oud zeiljacht, maar van 1989. Een ultra moderne 5 master met computer gestuurde zeilen met die zichzelf opvouwen. Waar nodig kan de bemanning gebruik maken van 4 dieselgeneratoren voor de stroomvoorziening en 2 electrische motoren voor de voortstuwing. Gemak dienst de mens zullen we maar zeggen...
En : In augustus 2015 zal deze Wind Surf een belangrijke deelnemer zijn van Sail 2015 !!
In augustus 2012 I travelled to Amsterdam to capture the cruiseships Wind Surf (Windstar Cruises) and Eurodam (HAL| in Amsterdam.
The Wind Surf is one of the largest sailing cruise ships in the world, and can carry up to 310 passengers,[1] with a crew of 214.
Here the arrival in the Port of Amsterdam, sailing through the IJ-channel. In august 2015 the Wind Surf will be one of the ships of Sail 2015, the largest free nautical event in the world. This is no old ship, it in from 1989, and is a ultra modern sailing ship with self-furling, computer-operated sails. The ship has 4 diesel electric generating sets, 2 electrical propulsion motors.
