Halloween Treats made for my son's Halloween party. Spider Deviled Eggs, Witches' Finger Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods, Chocolate Cupcakes, Vanilla Cupcakes, and Red Velvet Cake Pop Eyeballs. Everything was delicious!!!

It was a busy day of cooking and prepping for the hoilday party, but all went as planned. We had a great turn out this year and caught up with a few people we hadn't seen in a long time.
Food items include Deviled Eggs, the Dirty French—it's like french onion soup poured over a burger (burger topped with Gruyere cheese, Caramelized Onion, Au Poivre Sauce & Mornay Sauce), and the Goetta Breakfast (Cincinnati's Famous Oatmeal Sausage with hashbrowns and two sunny side up eggs. wash it down with a Bloody Mary.
We got in early enough to walk around a bit, so we headed over the Chelsea Market.
The Green Table had deviled eggs as an appetizer, but only the one on the end was traditional. The others featured wasabi, pimento cheese and bacon.
My mom's deviled eggs -- a good snack on a dark, dreary afternoon (hence the lighting).

Apparently, deviled eggs aren't often seen in the UK. Every single person to whom I offered one took them only tentatively, and only after I explained that they are really just hard-boiled eggs mixed with mustard and some other ingredients. Fortunately, all but one person seemed to like them quite well after they had been coaxed into trying one!
These were made with my grandfather's recipe, and BOY were they good!
