At the Community Activity Center on Camp Casey May 29, civilians and Soldiers of the U.S. Army Garrison Red Cloud and Area I attend a professional development session geared especially to those in leadership positions. The audience of 145 leaders heard briefings on a range of topics that included customer service, mentoring subordinates, administrative and maintenance matters, and leadership itself. Speakers included Col. John M. Scott, Commander, USAG Red Cloud and Area I, and other garrison officials. The afternoon was capped by an indoor supper of hot dogs and hamburgers.

In recent decades, developments in software and hardware technologies have created dramatic shifts in design, manufacturing and research. Software technologies have facilitated automated process and new solutions for complex problems. Computation has also become a platform for creativity through generative art and design. New hardware platforms and digital fabrication technologies have similarly transformed manufacturing, offering more efficient production and mass customization. Such advances have helped catalyzed the maker-movement, democratizing design and maker culture. This influx of new capabilities to design, compute and fabricate like never before, has sparked a renewed interest in material performance.

We are now witnessing significant advances in active matter, 3D/4D Printing, materials science, synthetic biology, DNA nanotechnology and soft robotics, which have led to the convergence of software, hardware and material technologies and the growing field of programmable materials.

This conference was about the emerging field of active matter and programmable materials that bridges the worlds of art, science, engineering and design, demonstrating new perspectives for computation, transformation and dynamic material applications.

If over the past few decades we have experienced a software revolution, and more recently, a hardware revolution, this conference aims to discuss the premises, challenges and innovations brought by today’s materials revolution. We can now sense, compute, and actuate with materials alone, just as we could with software and hardware platforms previously. How does this shift influence materials research, and how does it shape the future of design, arts, and industrial applications? What tools and design processes do we need to advance, augment and invent new materials today? What are the key roles that industry, government, academic and public institutions can play in catalyzing the field of programmable materials?

This two-day conference consisted of a range of talks and lively discussion from leading researchers in materials science, art & design, synthetic biology and soft-robotics along with leaders from government, public institutions and industry.

December 23, 2013- Hajvery University (HU) hosted a lecture on The Role of Youth in Nation's Development by Honorable Mr. Asad Umar, Member National Assembly, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. HU as part of its Great Minds Visit HU! Series invites accomplished individuals from all walks of life to share their success stories with the students and inspire them to follow their dreams at a time when the youth of Pakistan have too many reasons to be demoralised and not enough to become agents of change.

Mr. Asad Umar, MNA and Senior Member of PTI, gave an energized talk to the HU Students on the positive mindset required by today's youth to overcome the numerous challenges that Pakistan faces. He encouraged students to focus on the Entrepreneurial Mindset and use the skills learned at the University to start their own businesses. He further added that the Students must become agents of change in their individual capacities if they want to see Pakistan as a prosperous nation in the future. He stressed that Education is the driving force of a Knowledge based Economy and the students sitting here today in the HU Auditorium are as bright and intelligent as any other student in the world.

“I’ve had the good fortune of travelling the world and being associated with some of the best Organisations & Universities world over and I can reassure you that the students sitting here today in the Hajvery University’s Auditorium are as bright and intelligent as any other student in the world!

Mr. Asad Umar also took oath from 30 male and female students who formed the new Executive Counsel of the HU Student Societies, an initiative by the University to give students a platform to hone their unique talents various fields. The 5 Student Societies are mentioned below. Each consists of a President and 5 Vice Presidents.

1) HU Debating Society (HUDS)

2) HU Performing Arts & Dramatics Society (HU PADS)

3) HU Photography Society (HUPS)

4) HU Career Development Society (HU CDS)

5) HU Newsletter & Year Book Society ( HU NLYBS)

More Students Societies Executive Councils will be finalised in the upcoming weeks.

Mr. Asad Umar also officially Launched 2 Portals, HU Student Life Portal and HU Campus Beat Blog both of which are aimed at showcasing and sharing the Student led activities of Hajvery University to the rest of the world. Dr. Muhammad Khalid Pervaiz, Rector HU, expressed that students are keen to play an active role in Nation’s Development and such events allow them to take inspirations.

Mr. Fahd Sheikh, Director, HU while speaking on the occasion expressed that encouraging these students to play a positive role in nation building is pivotal to the success of the country. The University is taking initiatives such as Great Minds Visit HU! Series to continually invite such people who can have a positive impact of these students mindsets. He also expressed gratitude on behalf of the University to Mr. Asad Umar and his team members who very kindly graced the occasion and had an engaging session with the students. The event concluded with refreshments.

15 Years Later, Physics Journal Concludes: All 3 WTC Towers Collapsed Due To Controlled Demolition

By Jay Syrmopoulos

Over the past 15 years many highly respected academics and experts have come forward to challenge the official narrative on the collapse of the WTC towers forwarded by the U.S. government. The official government position holds that the collapse of all three towers was due to intense heat inside of the buildings.

But a new forensic investigation into the collapse of the three World Trade Center towers on 9/11, published in Europhysics News – a highly respected European physics magazine – claims that “the evidence points overwhelmingly to the conclusion that all three buildings were destroyed by controlled demolition.”

While many in the mainstream have attempted to label anyone questioning the official narrative as a “tin foil hat” conspiracy theorist, many highly respected experts have come forward to lampoon the idea that the buildings collapsed due to the intense heat and fires following two terrorist-directed plane crashes.

“Given the far-reaching implications, it is morally imperative that this hypothesis be the subject of a truly scientific and impartial investigation by responsible authorities,” the four physicists conclude in the damning report.

sept-11-journalThe new study is the work of Steven Jones, former full professor of physics at Brigham Young University, Robert Korol, a professor emeritus of civil engineering at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, Anthony Szamboti, a mechanical design engineer with over 25 years of structural design experience in the aerospace and communications industries and Ted Walter, the director of strategy and development for Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, a nonprofit organization that today represents more than 2,500 architects and engineers.

The comprehensive study in Europhysics News directly challenges the official narrative and lends to a growing body of evidence that seriously questions the veracity of the government narrative.

In 2002, the National Institute of Standards and Technology remarked that the case was exceptionally bizarre. There were no other known cases of total structural collapses in high-rise buildings caused by fires and so it is deeply unusual that it should have happened three times in the space of one day, noted NIST.

Official investigations have never been able to thoroughly and coherently explain how this might have happened and various teams tasked with examining the collapse have raised difficult questions about the veracity of the government’s story.

Perhaps most damning of all, the experts claimed that after a thorough forensic analysis of video footage of the building’s collapse, it revealed signs of a controlled implosion. Additionally, Jones has co-authored a number of papers documenting evidence of unreacted nano-thermitic material in the WTC dust.

The authors of the study note that the buildings fell with such speed and symmetry that they there was no other feasible explanation for the sudden collapse at free-fall speeds – directly refuting studies that attempted to debunk the idea that the building fell without resistance. These respected experts’ new forensic analysis only adds to the growing movement of people calling for a new and impartial investigation into the collapse of the World Trade Center.

Revealing the scope and breadth of public disbelief in the official government narrative surrounding the events of 9/11, even presidential candidate Jill Stein has recently called for a new investigation.
